This extreme large format solid glass panel was UV printed with translucency making it work as a light box with LED back lighting. Glass is about 8x8ft in room looks small as it goes wall to wall but in reality its very big peace of glass, black ink back printing it makes it look very upscale. In this projects LaserCutZ did a color UV printing directly onto a ash wood shelves. Printed artwork is a bunch of random colored lines forming a pattern, this job could of been done with laser and then color filled for durability but client wanted to try fully digital printing application. Results came out very impressive. Texture some what reminds us Coach custom skate board project that we did few years ago.
This sample was done for LV to show case possibilities of enhanced decoration of glass cabinets. Idea was to use dithering dots similar to what seen in cars close to edge. those dots used to hide mechanical parts and glue behind glass. LaseCutZ developed technology and proposed to augment those plain dots with corporate branding of Louis Vuitton. Special production method was developed to ensure that both logo and dots are crispy clean when viewed in close up. Results came out astonishing! Special production method is by far more superior then conventional silk screening or UV glass printing. more to say method that was developed if a digital application so no molds or modules are needed. This can be produced with any color and any size.
This painting was printed on 1/4″ tempered glass for artist from Israel. Digital UV prints look extremely nice when printed on back of the glass as glossy glass surface makes it special look and feel. This painting done in pastel colors is to be installed in Manhattan’s office of a financial company
Carbon fiber parts are very popular for car modifications, real carbon some time hard to manufacture (and some times not needed) one alternative to real carbon if hydroprinted texture that can be applied almost to any shape. For example shpeed shape below shows carbon wave that is fairly realistic even when we compared to original carbon used in Mercedes AMG interior our speed shape looked fairly decent. Few projects back we made custom parts form real carbon fiber for Lamborghini, now looking back we could use hydroprinting to do the same part with much less efforts and get same visual reuslt. Those hotel access card keys are custom made for upscale hotel in Miami, FL. Cards are laser cut form acrylic then corners are beveled to make them round. Finally cards are UV printed on both sides with hotel logo and security markings.
This product display and information info plate is laser cut from clear acrylic and then printed on flat bed printer in inverse. This allows nice any shiny front surface, while artwork is protected from scratches and cleaning chemicals. Such laser cut name plates are ideal for retail environment. This specific plate was printed with text and then layer of white in was added as a backer to make text more readable. Final look mimics Apple style signs as this plate is designed for apple iPhone accessory.
LaserCutZ just finished limited edition of skate board decks for Coach. Those skates are laser cut to required shape by our CO2 lasers, then edges are routed to make then rounded and surface is treated to be absolutely perfect and smooth. Prepared laser cut wood blanks are printed with Disney artwork. Board names reassemble characters names from Snow-white. Each names is finished with shiny glitters. Finally boards are clear coated to add production and shine to them. Some board had gold and silver edges. This is a sample tile showing how LaserCutZ can use our flatbed printer to print full color CMYK in wood, glass, metal or any other surfaces. Sample print shows full color photo of the flower printed on ¼” laser cut plywood tile. Printing has white primer color to ensure proper color representation. This wood printing technique is ideal for architectural and design uses.
This rule sign was printed directly to a metal aluminum panel with our flatbed UV printer. Multiple layers of ink was added in top of percolated aluminum sheet to ensure maximum durability of the sign in outdoor environment. Sign is fairly large, metal is 3×2’ and its real aluminum metal 3/8” so its quite heavy. Aluminum was brushed before printing to add nice texture and prevent any reflection so sign is very easy to read. Flatbed UV printing is a good add on to the LaserCutZ laser engraving services. Our UV printer can easily handle 4×8’ and 8×10’ larger size architectural and sign printing needs. We can print full color on any type of flat materials including, glass, plastic, wood, ceramics, marble, metal and anything else that is flat.
