Upgrades are always fun, Laser-CutZ just got our new convex lens for machine. New lens allows better capturing of laser rays and focusing them in one point. For end user that means that smaller beam width can be used, According to our calculations the cutting dot should now be 0.1mm comparing to old one of 0.2mm. Here is simple fact: Old lens was cutting 1/2″ armored acrylic sheet at 90% power, new lens allowed us to cust at 30% power.
Plastic Prototype Parts Engineering and Fabrication
Laser-CutZ can produce plastic parts of any complexity, fast prototypes can be done on 3D printers, more reliable parts can be fabricated with CNC milling (as shown on the photo) and final production ready units can be produced by using mold injection technology to reduce per unit costs.
Translucent decorative glass can add very nice lighting and interior design affects. This sample shows combination of die sublimation / surface printing finished with silkscreen outline (black lines are actually raised for better close up look and tactile impression) Add LED light on the back and it would make nice illumination device, perfect for restaurants, bars, churches etc as this mimics vintage style windows.

Laser-Cutz just stocked some extra chipboard (card board material) so we can do your project right away without waiting for material to arrive. Chipboard is a type of cardboard very often used in architectural modeling for base of the model. Layers of chip board are attached to each other to build up the relief around building construction. Alliteratively chipboard is excellent material for various craft and creative projects. We can even do laser engraved business cards with it, and if you want to go crazy we can do engraving + silk screening of business cards so you will have completely unique corporate identity (or perhaps we should call it creative personal identity) We can laser cut and engrave chip board.

Laser cutting of winter decoration out of suede (lather) done for Manhattan store front by Laser-Cutz. This was not real lather but rather a faux so edges are slightly melted. Real lather is always cut clean. Laser machine can do easy cutting of any complexity which makes it much more superior comparing to the same job if it would be done with scissors. Same job can be replicated at the same time so while window display case can be covered in snow flakes like this is no time.
