Marble slab cut and polished to hold angel figurine. Marble plate is laser engraved to create a recess channel with letterings. The letter channel is then infilled with black letterings to create a readable contrast over white carrara marble. Laser engraving over marble was done by both CO2 and Fiber laser machines along with manual rotary finishing. As an option marble can also be sand blasted if slabs are larger in size.
Synagogue Temple Marble Cutting and Engraving
Marble can be cut with water jet or CNC. This project included cutting marble plate to size and then sand blasting Hebrew letters to form letter recess in the marble, then cavities is filled with black paint at customer request. Those marble slabs are installed in temple facade. Plates are rather large, total size of installation is about 25 feet.
